Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Being completely honest here I really didn't want to write another "Single on V-day" post or "14 Things You Can Do On Valentine's" post. So today’s post is a question actually: What is love to you?
I’m going to go with platonic love on my answer and say for me love is the desire to want the best for someone else. You want them to succeed in their dreams and are willing to help them get there. It’s also being there for that person, even if it’s just to be a listening ear. So what about you? What is love to you? Platonic, romantic, familial, I’ll accept answers for them all! Until next time (because I'm not completely anti-Valentine's day....)! Love, Sydney

It was the summer of 2015, end of July in Dallas Texas, and hot as all get out. But off of I-30 right smack dab in the middle of Fair Park in South Dallas was Warped Tour. Fifty bands from all over the country- and sometimes world- in one spot for one day (until they head down to Houston to do it again), and I was there to see it right in the middle of me being fifteen. It was my very first time listening to all of those bands I bought CD’s of and it was also my first ever music festival.
As someone who grew up in a single parent home, I knew early on that working through college was going to be in the plan. Fast forward to 2019, and I am now balancing what can be called a full-time job while also being a full-time student. And since according to The Atlantic, up to a quarter of college students are also in the same boat, I figured I share how I balance my work and school life.
